War on warranty ATV online purchase issue

War on warranty – ATV online purchase issue

The Internet is an amazing technology that allows all of us the opportunity to purchase literally anything we want off the Internet without having to change, drive the car, find a parking, walk around, wait in line, lug around anything whatsoever. It’s like with a computer and internet access, your fingertips are magical, isn’t it? While it’s true and we are truly appreciative of the fact that the internet has brought about our RacewayATV store to you, I want to just mention something here today….security and warranty.

I am talking, in particular, about purchasing ATVs, dirt bikes, water sport stuff, accessories….the huge things that weight a lot and cost a little bit more than your average cabbage and a carton of milk. Because it’s not exactly cheap to buy an ATV and bike, it’s my job being attached to Raceway to remind you that you should always be wary when purchasing ATV online. I mean, it’s definitely easy to whip out the credit card and type in the details but are you getting yourself into hot soup without looking into the finer important details? What I have in mind are stuff like warranty and return policy.

Have you ever seen advertisements showing huge fridge-sized burgers enticing you with taglines like “It’ll take more than just a bite” or something along those lines and then when you get to the restaurant or the fastfood chain, they place this puny little burger on your tray and say “Here’s your BURGER. Huge, isn’t it?” Well, what I am getting at is this….what you see may not be what you get in the end. Which means that you should always expect that something unexpected to turn up on your doorstep….that the delivery man is going to bring you your ATV purchase but you might find it lacking.

This is where cautiousness pays. Take a look at their return and warranty policy . www.RacewayATV.com offers a 120-day coverage for manufacturer’s defects on the products and parts. Which means that if something screws up within that period of time, you can call us and give us a piece of your mind and we’ll gladly stay silent and change the part for you completely free of charge. When purchasing your ATV online, check to see if they have stipulated such warranty clauses. If they say nothing about the warranty and do not respond to your email about the warranty, don’t even give them your name, for Heaven’s sakes!

And then there’s the return policy and here’s how it’s supposed to work. www.RacewayATV.com provides a 15-day return period which means that from the moment the delivery guy drops off the ATV to 15 days later, you have the option to check and return the ATV that you’ve purchased online from us. If the ATV is in resalable condition, we’ll return you your money without a single complaint. If you purchase an ATV from someone without such a clause and they send you something completely different from what you’ve seen on their website, you’re in trouble because you won’t have recourse! Yes, this means you’re stuck with that piece of whatever-it-looks-like for good!

So, be careful and err on the side of caution.
