TNT Motosports Park, South Carolina

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
TNT Motosports Park, South Carolina Updated: Thursday, 06 September 2007

It’s a fact that fellow ATV enthusiast in South Carolina can never run out of exciting ATV trails and tracks to ride their ATVs on and folks from other states like us don’t know what we’re missing. Thankfully, we were sent on an adventuresome ATV trip to a popular ATV park one fine day located in Chester, South Carolina. The ATV trail has 4 fun MX tracks catering to ATV riders of different skill levels. That’s a good thing too because we had quite a few beginner ATV enthusiasts with us and we wouldn’t have had as much fun if they were stuck in difficult parts of the ATV trail all the time! TNT Motosport Park also has multiple trail loops which presents us with different terrains and different difficulty levels too. so, in actual fact, you can spend quite a couple of days just finishing off everything that they have to offer there without getting bored....

People on ATVs and motorbikes are most welcome to ride on these trails. Kids and beginner ATV enthusiasts can enjoy one of their motocross tracks which cater for beginner bike and ATV riders. it’s a great place for practice and it’s relatively safe if your kids or youth know the rules to basic ATV safety riding.

Experienced ATV riders will love one of their wood trails which is quite challenging, frankly speaking. It’s an 8-mile course (short but sweet ATV ride) that winds through beautiful scenery into the 228 acres of hardwood forest. If 8-mile is too long for you, you can always pick the shorter one through the same wood trail which lasts for about 2 ½ mile which is perfect for intermediate ATV riders. Don’t worry about getting lost of taking the wrong turn – the great thing about this ATV trail is that it is always very clearly marked and there are directions all over the place.

In order to use the ATV park, you’ll need to pay a fee. As far as we can tell, spectators do NOT need to pay their membership fee as long as they help to keep the ATV park clean and help whenever they can to maintain the orderliness of the ATV trails and parks. Their yearly membership fee for adults is $20 while the membership for children is $10 per child. If you only want to ride the ATV trail or park once, just pay their 1-day guest membership fee of $10.

The management of this ATV park and trail requires all ATV riders to have proper ATV safety protection like helmet, goggles, angle boots, long pants and shirt, gloves…etc. They will love you even more if you come with your elbow, knee and chest protectors. Otherwise, just bring the basics…that should be enough.

There are no fancy restaurants or large shopping malls there, so, don’t expect any. But there’s basic fast food there for you, like Burger King and McDonalds. One advice, though. Please give them a call at 803.482.4759 to find out if their ATV trails are closed or not. The officials there told us that sometimes they close their tracks off because of weather conditions.

It’s quite easy to get to TNT ATV Park. It is located in Chester, halfway between Charlotte North Carolina and Columbia South Carolina. To get there, take Highway I-77 and exit at Exit 55 which means that you’ll be heading north on Highway 97 heading towards Chester. Continue on for about 3.5 miles and take a turn towards Brown Road. Go along Brown Road for about 1.5 miles and watch out for a sign pointing you towards this ATV park. The signage is on the right, turn right and into the park. If you’re not sure about the directions, give their management a call at 803.385.5048 and the staff there at the track might be able to give you more accurate information.
