PennyPack park ATV trail

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
PennyPack park ATV trail Thursday, 19 April 2007

Pennypack ATV trail is one of Pennsylvania’s most popular ATV trails and there’s a good reason why too. The Pennypack Park is not only for ATVs, bikes, hiking, camping and playground for children too. It’s a popular ATV trail for many ATV enthusiasts all around the country and if you visit any ATV forums, you’ll see that many of them make time to travel from all parts of the country just to ride this ATV trail.

Riding on Pennypack, which transforms from a double-track into a single track during summers) can be challenging but this doesn’t mean that beginner ATV riders can’t ride Pennypack. All we’re saying is that Pennypack can get a little sticky to those who are just learning the ropes. The obstacles aren’t hard to clear because during summer, Pennypack Park can get a little…unkempt resulting in many uprooted trees and big branches strewn across the ATV trail. Beginner ATV riders might find this is a little hard to clear but there’s no reason to get anxious or unsettled just because a branch or two is in the way. This is a great ATV trail to learn how to clear these simple obstacles.

Large, uprooted trees can get challenging for experts too, so, be prepared for a little a tough time especially when there are tumbled over trees in your way every other mile along this ATV trail.

All’s not lost for families with kids – you can still bring the kids along to Pennypack Park because it is still essentially a park with facilities and playgrounds to entertain family members who would rather picnic, camp around or do some biking in the park. It’s because of such options that Pennypack Park becomes so popular among ATV enthusiasts.

Pennypack ATV trail offers 15 – 20 miles of absolute fun if you could finish everything in one day. Although there aren’t many big hills to climb, the single track ATV trail is fast and fun. When you go to Pennypack ATV trail during rainy days, be prepared to get soaked and muddy, so, it’d do you good if you checked out the weather report before heading on over.

Regular ATV riders who go to Pennypack ATV park says that it is better if you ride the ATV trail west instead of east which means you’re riding against the flow of Delaware River. Start off at Pine Rd and head on to Frankford Av; you can trek around Pennypack on the Delaware before riding your ATV back. The view is absolutely stunning, so, bring along your camera for this ATV trip.

The entrance to the park is at 7979 State Rd.
Pennypack Park is more than a hundred years old.
