Cool ATV ride in Utah

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
Cool ATV ride in Utah Thursday, 03 May 2007

For a cool ATV ride in Utah, we have a recommendation…especially if you’ve never been to Moab Utah…head out to the Top of the World loop! When you ride your ATV on this ATV trail, you’ll not only get to challenge yourself, you’ll see in one sweeping gaze the awe-inspiring scenery of Utah from atop a hilly terrain. This is also the right time to whip out that camera and start snapping away like your life depended on it.

It’s easy to get to the starting point of this Utah ATV trail because most parts of the trail including roads leading to it are well marked, so, it’s hard to get lost. The reason why it is well-marked is because many ATV enthusiasts often make their way here. The start of the ATV trail is located at the parking lot of Dewey Bridge.

At some points during your ride on this hilly terrain, you’ll be awestruck – left completely speechless at least for a while!  The trail is not your typical terrain therefore, when you reach the top of the ATV trail, you’ll see what Moab really looks like from a bird’s eye view! Excellent scenery…and Mother Nature isn’t fair to the rest of the country!

Another distinctive difference we found about at the Top of the World Loops is that as you ride this ATV trail, there’s a huge cliff just hanging over your head which absolutely awesome. An unbelievably unique…this might be a common sight for those who have been there but to some of us who are more used to the jungle and rocky ATV trails, this was one unique way to ride ATV!

Nature also gives you the chance to take a good look below in the canyon the view of Rose Garden Hill and Onion Creek – definitely a sight to behold. You’ll definitely pass this way since it’s the way you have to go on your ATV to complete the loop. There are many other interesting areas to stop and take pictures all along the way…enough spots to last you about a week or more!

Overall, we would describe this ATV trail as a little rough…but when we say ‘a little’, it depends on your skill level. However, there’s no need to worry because if accompanied by experts, even beginner ATV riders can take on this trail – there are no really hard obstacles over there. And besides, the good thing is that The Top of the World ATV trail is very well-marked.

If you still have time, you can go for Kokopelli’s ATV trail which is a little bit more difficult compared to Top of the World. Can even get a little dangerous too for kids, youths, women and beginners.

To get to Top of the World ATV trail, you should go from Moab, take the Highway 128 heading towards Dewey Bridge because that’s where the starting point is. Otherwise, enter highway 128 from I-70 and head south towards Dewey Bridge.
