Cool ATV Quad Stuff You Can Buy for Less than a Benjamin (100$ bill)

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
Cool ATV Quad Stuff You Can Buy for Less than a Benjamin (100$ bill) Friday, 13 April 2007

These days, most of us are on a budget.  It seems like everything around us is going up except our paychecks, and a lot of the accessories you would like to buy end up on a wish list that you can never seem to fulfill.  There is hope however, and some great parts and accessories you can buy for less than $100.

Want to make your quad breathe a little easier?  Aftermarket air filters help you to gain a little more from your quad by helping it to breathe a little easier.  Think of it as an oxygen mask for your machine.

•    Pod-Style Air Filter - These take the place of your stock air box and clamp directly to the filter side of the carb.  It is a dual stage filter design with a foam filter inside and a foam outer covering.  Maintenance on it is easy, clean it, oil it, and go.  Avg. price - $25

Not only does your quad have to run good, it should look good as well.  There are some “bling-bling” items you can buy that won’t break the bank as well.

•    Tubular Front Bumpers - Not only are they functional, but they look great as well.  Designed to fit just about every machine out there, it should be relatively easy to “shop around” for the best price.  Avg. price - $85

•    Universal Handguards - Keep your hands protected from the brush and the cold with handguards.  You can get these to mount to any handlebar out there, stock or aftermarket.  Avg. price - $30

•    Aluminum Fuel Tank Caps - Go for that finishing touch of customization with a Billet aluminum fuel cap.  They come in a multitude of colors to give your quad that last trick look you could be looking for.  They are also one of the cheapest mods you can make.  Avg. price - $22

•    Aftermarket Bars - Aftermarket handlebars just seem to add something to a quad.  In my opinion, they can make or break the look altogether.  Not to mention that they are also a functional add-on just as much as a visual; you can get them in a length that suits better to your riding style and is more comfortable to you than stock.  Avg. price - $40 give or take some.

Safety.  That’s the big one.  Above all of the things listed above, this should be your first priority.  At a minimum you or your child should be wearing a helmet and goggles.  And believe it or not, you can get a DOT approved helmet and a pair of goggles for less than $100 total.  But as soon as you can so afford, think about buying a chest protector, boots, gloves, and guards.  Avg. price for helmet and goggle combo - $95

This list of items is only a small portion of the accessories you can buy for under $100.  Take your time, shop around, and don’t feel compelled to buy the first thing you find.  Compare different vendors’ prices, and even see if they will price match or beat competitor’s prices.  You’ll be surprised how many of them will do it to win your business. www.racewayatv.com
