Oklahoma ATVing Fun

Home to vast fields of grass and large wild forests, Oklahoma is the ideal destination for the ATV enthusiast who is looking to get in touch with mother nature. The many ATV trails of Oklahoma offer different opportunities, but generally speaking you will be able to ride your ATV on some trails with beautiful tall trees and possibly be treated to some views of the area's native wildlife. You will also probably have the opportunity to ride your ATV through some mud as well while in Oklahoma, if that is your thing.

The state of Oklahoma does not require that you be registered with any agencies in order to ride your ATV, but you must have an Operator's License if you wish to cross highways while in the state. While in Oklahoma you must remember to stay in the unpaved USFS roads that serve as ATV riding areas, as riding your ATV on paved roads is strictly prohibited, except for crossing highways. Another requirement in Oklahoma is that you must ride your ATV only in the day. No night riding is allowed in the state. Oklahoma does not have any type of regulations as to how much your ATV can weigh or how wide it is, so if you have a monster of a vehicle then this is the perfect place to ride.

There is also no minimum age requirement for ATV riders, and a safety certificate is also not needed. If you are looking to ride your ATV without some of the rules and regulations that other states have, or if you just wanted to be treated to some beautiful views of Mother Nature, Oklahoma is the place to go.
