ATVing in Kansas

Kansas is a great place to go ATVing, as it is home to many great ATV spots. When you ride your ATV in Kansas you will have access to flat, grassy plains, large thick forests, and an overall great view of the wilderness and Mother Nature.

Many of the ATV trails and riding areas in Kansas are located right beside lakes, giving you a great view of a large body of water while you ride. Most of the trails in Kansas also happen to be home to a large variety of wildlife, so if you enjoy watching birds and other small critters while you ride your ATV, then you will especially enjoy riding in Kansas.

The best ATV trails in Kansas are scattered throughout the state and none of them are really focused on one particular city of area. One of the best trails in Kansas is the Perry Lake ATV trail. The Perry Lake ATV trails is home to just over 140 acres of ATV friendly land, from rugged and rough terrain suited for experienced riders, to simple forest trail suitable for beginners. Other great ATV trails and riding areas in Kansas include theJohn Redmon Reservoir, Kanopolis Lake, Council Grove, Hickory Creek ATV Trail, Pomona Lake, Millford Lake, the Otter Creek ATV Area, and many more. As you can see, Kansas is home to a wide variety of great ATV trails.

Kansas does not have as many rules and regulations as many other states, but they do have some. The maximum weight allowed for an ATV in the state is 650 pounds, and the maximum width allowed in the state is 45 inches, so if you have a huge ATV, you won't be able to ride it in Kansas on State managed lands.
