Stanley Area Snowmobile Trails

Stanley Area Snowmobile Trails

Located near Stanley in Central Idaho, the Stanley Area Snowmobile Trails offer a large array of smooth snowmobile fun with remarkable scenic vista views. This beautiful area spans over 165 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that snowmobiling enthusiasts of all kinds and types are sure to enjoy. On these trails you will ride across mountains with a elevation of 7,000 feet, stroll through vast meadows, and glide over excellent frozen trails. The Stanley Area Snowmobile Trails are open from November through April, and there are some warming areas available if you need to warm up a bit while riding.

Once you have had all of the snowmobiling fun you could take for the day, you may want to chill out and rest for awhile, or you might want to grab something to eat. The town of Stanley and it's surrounding areas can definitely fulfill both of those needs, as there are many places to spend the night so you can hit the snowmobile trails another day, as well as restaurant, convenience stores, and gas stations. If you want to pick up a few souvenirs from your trip to ride your snowmobile in Stanley, there are also specialty shops and a mall available.

It is very important that you follow all of the proper safety rules and play it safe when you ride on the Stanley Area Snowmobile Trails. Always remember to wear your helmet, goggles, chest protections and other essential snowmobiling safety attire while riding. Do not goof off or leave the designated riding areas. Riding your snowmobile is fun, but you must do it responsibly. Trying to show off in front of your friends and doing things you shouldn't do may cause you and others serious harm, so please put safety first.
