In the northern part of Georgia, you'll find the beautiful Blue Ridge area and within that you can find Anderson Creek 4-Wheeling area. This is a great place to ride your ATV. There are only about 5 miles of trails and many end in dead ends which result in turn around as there are few loop backs on these trails.
The 4-wheeler trails themselves are a little more challenging and if you are a newer or inexperienced 4-wheeler rider, be sure that you have someone along for the ride that knows how to navigate moderately difficult terrain on their 4-wheelers so newer 4-wheeler riders can learn proper and safe handling skills. As with all 4-wheeler trails that are managed by the National Forest Service, certain rules apply for riding on these trails such as : You must stay on ORV designated trails, roads and areas - no trail blazing is allowed on any ORV/4-wheeler.
Your spark arrestor and muffler must be in place prior to riding these 4-wheeler trails and your muffler must conceal noise from your 4-wheeler up to 86 decibels at 50 feet. Additionally, make sure you are wearing your DOT approved helmet at all times, and goggles would be a good idea as a lot of debris gets kicked up on these 4-wheeler trails and you can ruin a whole day of 4-wheeler riding with your friends by one small bit of debris getting in your eye and spending the day in the Emergency Room instead of on the 4-wheeler trails with your friends. The Forest Service asks that you do not go "trailblazing" on your 4-wheeler and stay only on the designated trails. Previously, people doing that caused the trails to be closed from November 2005 until March 2007 for repairs to severely damaged areas.
