Great Motorcycle and ATV Trails in Georgia

With warmer weather approaching and the season of winter fading away. You've probably been itching to get your ATV or motorcycle on the trails again. Georgia has a huge number of riding opportunities in the state.

If you're a rider with advanced skills, check out Bear Creek in Ellijay. This is a trail system that is just over 10 miles long of one-way very narrow trails. There are very few loop backs. And the traffic on this trail system is very heavy. There are a lot of technical obstacles and many down hills. If you've been riding your ATV or motorcycle for quite some time you will love this trail system.

Big Creek in Alpharetta has ever 10 miles of narrow one-way loop trail system. At the trail head there is a beginner's trail that is less than 2 miles long. It is very easy to ride and has absolutely no obstacles to overcome. If you're a more experienced rider hit the other trails and you will find creek crossings, rocky roads, and a good number of hills to climb.

Even though these are very short trails put safety first and never ride with out your helmet and goggles. Also, ride friendly and always try to leave the trail system looking better than when you found it; if you see trash pick it up and do your part to be a responsible rider and help keep the trail systems open for everyone.
