Extras Your RC Tool Box Needs

Beyond the tools, you can save the day of RC racing fun if you have some extras along in your RC toolbox. Parts and other items that you may need to change out when you're doing your own maintenance on your RC car or if you find yourself out at the track and you need to do a quickie repair job and it will be easy to do if you have these items handy:

Tire glue will save the day. Have it handy and if you happen to have a tire mishap you can fix it right then and there. Gluing the tires to the rims will stop them from falling off during high speed racing events. Various oils are also very handy to have around such as shock oil, air filter oil, and after-run oil.

You can also use extra battery packs and get a variety of crystal sets. Just having them around will save you a lot of hassles later. Plus extra fuel if you drive RC nitro cars or trucks is always a great thing to have around. Fuel tubes can get damaged in an impact, have it handy and it isn't difficult to replace yourself. Another thing you can find you need are extra cotter pins if your vehicle uses those to secure the chassis along with a screw down.

These are all minor things but very handy to have in your RC tool box. If you race your RC car or truck frequently you will find you need oils on a frequent basis and keeping the air filter running at peak performance will mean your RC car or truck will always deliver.

Now that you know the basics, put together extras for your RC tool box so you can extend your days of racing fun even if the unexpected happens.
