Eyes on ATV goggles

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
Eyes on ATV goggles Updated: Friday, 04 January 2008

Taking a look at some of the Thor ATV goggles we have in store, it got me thinking about the last time I had mine replaced. The thing is that, I own this one https://www.racewayatv.com/thor-enemy-goggles.html and to be honest with you, it’s so good that I’ve been waiting for it to die out on me! I’ve been meaning to replace it but felt that it would be such a waste for me to get another one while this one was still perfectly fine! I am NOT the kind of person who would have 10 ATV goggles stored up just so that I can match them with my ATV accessories and ATV riding apparels! No, sireee! Some call me stingy and hard-headed but I would like to call myself ‘loyal’ instead.

Now, with that said, I am starting to wonder ‘Why not’? I mean, I could like Budweiser today but change my mind and prefer wine the next, isn’t that true? Why can’t the same rule be applied towards owning ATV goggles? They’re cheap and easy to care for. In the two years that I have been using my ATV goggles, I’ve only had to replace the flap and the strap once. This says a lot about the ATV goggles because I use them a whole lot, ok? You’re talking about someone who rides his ATV every weekend and every chance he gets in the backyard, garden and park.

Since we’re (at least, I am) on the topic of ATV goggles and eyewear, I just want to take the opportunity to highlight on what makes an ATV eyewear a good one. First, if you’re into the brand thinghy, that’s great because brand names like Thor are well-known as industry leaders for all things ATVs. Secondly, you’ll have to look at the comfort level when wearing the ATV goggle. Some companies make the straps of the ATV goggle so short (effort to save cost?) that you have to stretch the rubber for miles before you can actually wear the ATV goggle comfortably.

And then, to me, there’s the issue of ventilation and airflow. You want air-tight ATV goggle that won’t give way to water, sand or mud. Hhhmm…not a nice sensation to have mud inside the ATV goggles. Clarity is another thing that I am pretty particular about as far as ATV goggles are concerned. Nothing more annoying than ATV goggles that hinders your judgment and sight…is deserving of being smashed into smitterins! What’s the point of wearing ATV goggles when it doesn’t protect your eyes and help you see? I’d rather go without the ATV goggles and get poked in the eye by flipping tree branches. At least, it’s not annoying the hell out of me and I deserve it for not looking out for it. And there’s the other thing with fogging up….makes me angry just talking about wearing ATV goggles that fogs up too often. That’s why it’s important to get yourself a good pair of ATV goggles. Your eyes will be protected and you won’t get mad at the darn goggles.

As a general consumer, I would be appreciative if the ATV goggle manufacturer had a decent team of designers who can come up with wide variety of design AND color options. For me, I prefer ATV goggles with a more angular design, which explains why I own a pair of ATV Thor Enemy Goggles. But there are others for people who prefer something else…like the Thor Youth Goggles , or the Thor Bomber Goggles . Ladies, don’t worry, I am not leaving you out of the equation either, there are some pretty cool ones for you too here. Thor Enemy Womens.

For those of you looking for replacement parts for your ATV goggles , don’t worry, we have you covered as well.
