The New Raceway Mini 95 Kids ATV
Raceway is a leading manufacturer of ATV's and prides themselves in creating safe 4x4's for people of all ages. When your child is ready for his or her first ATV, you can feel confident in putting him or her on the Raceway Mini 95 Quad. This fully automatic electric quad has a maximum speed of 37 miles per hour. But don't worry parents, if you feel uncomfortable with your kids zooming around at that speed there is a speed limiter screw so parents can control just how fast their kids can go on the Mini 95.
The Raceway Mini 95 ATV was modeled after an X-large 50cc ATV, but with the power of a 90cc. The Mini 95 can handle any situation with important safety features that many other small ATV's are lacking. Some of these features include a soft hydraulic hand braking system that allows your child to slow down easily, quickly, and safely. The Raceway Mini also has a rear tether pull cord kill switch that is another important safety feature that parents will be pleased to hear about. The raceway Mini ATV has a rainbow taillight and headlight that is the perfect size for this small ATV.
All of the safety features will keep the kids riding them safe and parents happy. However, if for some reason you are unsatisfied with the Mini 95 ATV, Raceway offers a 15 day return policy. Raceway is so confident in this ATV that they want everyone to share in their confidence.

Review of the Raceway Utility Mini 100 ATV
This quad is a great first ATV for any kid. But before you let your kid hop on one of these bad boys make sure they take a safety course in ATV riding. The Raceway mini is the perfect size, small enough for kids to drive now, but big enough that it gives them something to grow into. It comes in a variety of colors including camo and black and features a remote control kill switch and alarm.
The Utility Mini 100 ATV has a Honda styled engine which will give your kids many years worth of riding ahead. It also has plenty of power and speed, but don't worry parents, there is a speed limiter screw that allows you to control the top speed your kids will be driving around in the Utility Mini 100 ATV.
The Mini 100 has a few features that most small ATV's lack including sport double A-arm front suspension and real front shocks. The Mini 100 ATV has a soft hydraulic hand barking system that is safe and easy to use ensuring that your child will be safe behind the wheel. The Raceway Mini also has a rear tether pull cord kill switch, which is another important safety feature of this great ATV that parents will love.
If, for whatever reason, you or your child is not fully satisfied with the Utility Mini 100 ATV, there is a 15 day return policy that Raceway feels confident in giving to customers. Why? Because Raceway knows that once your child tests out the Utility mini 100 ATV for the first time, he or she is never coming off.

Riding Your ATV In Finger Lakes State Park
Finger Lakes State Park is a great place to take your ATV in Missouri. There is a great trail system that is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. They have a few rules in place for riding your ATV in Finger Lakes State Park.
The only off-road vehicle (ORV) types that are allowed to ride the trails in Finger Lakes State Park are restricted to all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and motorcycles. If any other type of vehicle, such as a pickup truck, Jeep, dune buggy, etc. is found on the designated ATV areas, the driver will be subject to arrest.
You many only have one person per ATV, no passengers are permitted under any circumstances. There is a Youth Riding Area that was set aside for ATVers under the age of 12 so they can ride their ATVs with adult supervision. A helmet that meets the DOT standards for safety and eye protection in the form of goggles is a must. A chin length visor on your helmet will no longer suffice as meeting the eye protection requirement.
You will need to get a permit for a day of riding in Finger Lakes, the Rangers will inspect your ATV to insure that the brakes are working properly and that you have a spark arrestor and muffler installed. The decibel limit for noise from your ATV is 86 decibels. A baby's average cry is about 100 decibels to give you a rough idea how loud that is.
If you are bringing your children to the Finger Lakes State Park, they are welcome to ride the ATV trails with you, but any ATVer under the age of 16 must have adult supervision at all times when trail riding and riding the ATV trails alone is not permitted.
With its many creeks to cross and scenic beauty, Finger Lakes is a great day of ATVing, just know the ropes for doing it safely and within the limits of the rules and regulations and you'll avoid a ticket and have a super time on the ATV trails with your friends and family.

Simple Steps for ATV Trail Etiquette
There has been an unspoken etiquette between ATV trail riders for years. But now that the popularity is beginning to grow and you are not required to have a license, more and more inexperienced ATV drivers are hitting the trails and causing danger to themselves and others that they may cross. This is why it is so important to review these few simple steps before taking your ATV out on trail.
What is etiquette? Even if you don't know the definition from Webster's dictionary, you probably already practice etiquette without even realizing it. Webster defines etiquette as, "the forms, manners, and ceremonies established by convention as acceptable or required in social relations." What exactly does all that mean? Basically to treat others the way you want to be treated.
Here are a few things to consider before your next trip out on an ATV. First, prepare yourself for the trip. Not having spare tires, water, or a change of clothes can take all the enjoyment out of a trip and leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Second, help others who are in need. If someone is in need of help and needs to use your cell phone, let them use or offer to make the call for them.
Third, no dusting allowed. This happens when you drive by a person on your ATV at speeds higher than 10MPH on a dusty road. It is hazardous to everyone behind you.
Next no tailgating. Keep your distance or you may end up in an ATV accident.
Be safe when passing on trail. Wait for the person in front of you to pull over as soon as he or she has the space.
Be wary of wheel spinning for more than a few seconds. The results will be rocks and debris flying everywhere which could hit a fellow ATVer.
Last, don't litter. By doing so you are ruining the environment in which you enjoy being in.

Riding Your ATV On Government Trail
At around 10 miles, the Government Trail is a good run for the ATV rider of moderate skill level. The trail opens during the summer and closes during the winter, and it is home to many non ATV activities, from hiking to motorcycling. The ATV trail begins at Maroon Creek and from there you tread across an old-fashioned wooden bridge and head into some steep terrain which will force you to climb upwards. This is the hardest part of this ATV trail. After the steep climb, the rest of this trail should be pretty smooth for the average ATV rider. From there you will guide your ATV over a changing environment that includes beautiful aspen, thick pines, and simply picturesque meadows full of ripe flowers. Remember that this ATV trail isn't a loop, so it would be a good idea to get access to a car shuttle.
To get to the Government Trail, take Highway 82 for half a mile west of Aspen and then take a left into Maroon Creek road. Take a right once on the road and keep going until you get to Iselin Park. The ATV trail will be visible on the right in the back of the tennis court.Once you are at the ATV trail, remember to practice all of the proper safety precautions, and be sure to be courteous to those you may pass along the way. Registration and Riding Your ATV In Montana
In the State of Montana, the Title and Registration Bureau regulates the titling and registration of motor vehicles, including ATVs. Your ATV can not be titled without being registered and the State of Montana prefers to do both at the same time.
If you have recently moved to Montana or you have only recently acquired an ATV, you have 60 days from your beginning of residency or your receipt of the ATV to register it with the State of Montana. At the time of this writing, titling of your ATV cost $10 and registration was included in that fee if you titled and registered your ATV at the same time. If not, you will have to pay $10 for each procedure.
This is true whether you ride your ATV on publicly managed lands or private lands. The State of Montana keeps a listing of all ATVs reported stolen and at the time of registration the number on your ATV will be checked against the listing of stolen ATVs in the State.
In order to meet the requirements to ride your ATV on publicly managed lands, unlike many other states, Montana does not require that your have headlights or a muffler installed on your ATV. However, a spark arrestor is a required piece of equipment in order to ride your ATV. Riding on paved roads is illegal unless you are using the road to get cross to get on another ATV trail, additionally there is no State mandated minimum age for riding an ATV in the State of Montana.
Be safe and know the rules for riding in your State and instead of a fine, you'll have a great time out riding your ATV.

While you are riding your ATV on the trail, remember not to deviate from the path at all, because you could possibly damage the Tundra in the area, which happens to be extremely delicate.
To get to American Basin ATV Trail #3314 from Lake city, head south on Highway 149 for 2.5 miles. After that, turn right on to Lake San Cristobal. From there take the paved road for four miles, then take the dirt road for 16 miles. Turn left when you see a sign that says Cinnamon Pass/American Basin. This road will lead you straight to the trailhead. Once you get to the trail, remember to be safe, respect the land, and have fun riding your ATV!

ATVing At Dry Creek Trail
Located in southwest Colorado, the Dry Creek Trail is an ideal trail for experienced ATV enthusiasts. Once called the Old Dry Creek Stock Driveway, this 12.5 mile long trail was once mainly used by farmers to transport animals. This is much less common now, as farmers prefer more modernized routes, and you are unlikely to encounter any of them while riding your ATV on the trail.
Your ATV adventure at Dry Creek Trail begins in a lush country area, and you steadily begin to climb up towards the peak of Bennett Mountain, which has an elevation of about 13,000 feet. While riding your ATV on Dry Creek Trail you will get access to some simply amazing views of the area around you. However, due both to the high elevation and the rocky nature of the trail you must be a very experienced ATV rider. This is a very difficult and dangerous ATV trail, and it is certainly not for beginners. Also, it is a good idea to ride the trail with some other ATV friends, just in case something happens. The chance of an accident is low for experienced ATV riders, but there is still a slight risk. Having said that, if you are an expert ATV rider and you follow all of the safety rules, this is a very challenging and exciting trail.
To get to the Dry Creek Trail from Monte Vista, take Highway 15 for 2 miles, and then take a right on County Road 2 south. Take this road for about 3.5 miles, make a right turn at the fork, drive for 3 miles and take a right at the intersection at Dry Creek and drive for 4 miles until you get to the trailhead. Remember to be safe, and have fun riding your ATV!

ATV Safety Advice
Safety is the most important thing to consider when riding an ATV. Roaming around in your ATV is an extremely fun and exciting experience, but if you do not follow safety rules and ride responsibly, you are likely to get hurt, or worse. In this article we are going to give you some helpful safety advice so you can avoid any accidents with your ATV. Some of these things will probably seem like no brainers, but they are things that can always use a little repeating.
To begin with, wear all of the proper gear necessary when you ride your ATV. Also, never show off or mess around while on your ATV. Be responsible, both by yourself and around others. There is nothing wrong with a group of friends riding ATVs together, but do not try to do any stunts that you know you are not capable of, and do not try to ride on any terrain that is not in your ability. People tend to act tough around their friends, but in situations like this it is simply asinine and impractical to do so, and it could mean your health.
Some more essential ATV advice: never ride your ATV under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs. When you do drugs, your motor skills and ability to judge distance are impaired, and these are essential to ATV riding, and driving vehicles in general. If you want to drink, then stay home. ATVs and drugs simply do not go together. Also, remember to respect the land and wildlife wherever you ride. ATV trails are a privilege, not a birth right. If enough ATV enthusiasts abuse the trails, they will eventually no longer exist. Set a good example for other ATVers and do the simple things like don't litter, if you bring it in with you, bring it out and always stay on the designated ATV trails.
Because a few ATVers didn't have the commonsense the majority of ATV owners have, many states have enacted rules that require helmets, goggles, and even safety courses. Make sure you know the current statutes for your state.

Consider Buying An ATV For Your Loved One This Valentines Day
Is your significant other an ATV enthusiast? Have they been wanting an ATV forever, but just haven't got around to buying one? Well, why not but them an ATV for Valentines Day? It may seem somewhat extravagant, but what better way is there to say I Love You to the ATV enthusiast than buying them their very own ATV? It sure beats getting a card and a bouquet of flowers!
Remember, safety is essential to ATV riding. After you buy an ATV for your loved one this Valentines day, make sure they follow all of the safety rules. Enroll in some ATV riding classes, buy the correct safety gear, and make sure they always wear their gear when they ride. Above all, the most important safety gear is a helmet. They have to buy a helmet that has been authorized by the Department of Transportation (DOT), and make sure that it is the right size and that it fits okay. If the helmet is the wrong size, it may fall off instead of protecting your loved one in an accident. Make sure they do not ride an ATV with a used helmet, as it might be much less resistant to impact, and a lot less likely to protect them from injury. Also, other protective gear should be bought, such as chest protections, goggles, tall boots for the legs, and long sleeves that cover the arms.
An ATV is the perfect Valentines Day gift for your significant other, but remember to make sure they put safety first.

Dodgeton ATV Trail
The Dodgeton ATV Trail can be found in South Central Colorado, about twelve miles south of La Veta. This 3.5 mile long ATV trail is operated by the San Isabel National Forest and is home to ATVing activities as well as biking, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding and more. The Dodgeton ATV Trail begins at the trail head of Spring Creek, which contains restroom facilities as well as a parking lot. The trail is of moderate difficulty, offering up a slight challenge for the beginning ATV rider, but it should be a piece of cake for more experienced riders. You will have to cross Dodgeton Stream drainage at two points in the trail, which is the most challenging aspect of this ATV trail. But as previously stated, this should be a rather easy trail for experienced ATV enthusiasts.
If 3.5 miles just isn't long enough for you, the Dodgeton ATV Trail joins with the Indian Creek, Baker, and Shortcut trails at various points to offer you further terrain to explore. You will be able to loop the routes with these trails while riding your ATV, so finding your way back to the trailhead should not be a problem. There are many types of transit that are allowed on the Dodgeton ATV Trail, so make sure to be respectful of any people or vehicles you may come across. And as always, be sure to be respectful to the land and any animals you might encounter on the way. Have fun riding the Dodgeton ATV Trail, and remember to be safe!

Nebraska ATV Regulations
Since 2003, it has been a State regulation that you must regisgter your ATV in the State of Nebraska. This includes ATVs sold by both businesses and private parties.
The procedure for obtaining a registration and riding permit for your ATV is very simple. Just go to your local country court house and present your MSO(manufacturers statement of origin) or a valid bill of sale. If you are without either an MSO or a bill of sale, you can still register your ATV in Nebraska if you have it inspected by the Sheriffs Department. The current charge by the Sheriff's Department to inspect your ATV is $10 per machine. Along with doing a safety inspection, the Sheriffs Department inspector will check your VIN against those stolen, and issue a permit to the owner allowing it to be titled.
If you fail to register your ATV in the State of Nebraska, the penalty is steep. It's a class 3 misdemeanor that comes complete with fines. The reason for registering your ATV in the first place was to help identify stolen ATVs and to help the banking and insurance industries cut down on their losses from such thefts.
At present time the funding collected for the registration of ATVs will not be used to maintain publicly funded riding lands. Also, if the ATV is used only on private lands (as in the cases of farmers and ranchers) the ATV does not have to be registered.
You know the safety rules for riding an ATV, take a little time and make sure that you ride legally when you're riding your ATV in Nebraska and you're assured of a great time!

Owning an ATV in Ohio
Owning an ATV in Ohio is a snap if you know the basics for legal ownership. Since 2003 all ATVs must be registered with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Your ATV registration will cost you $7.25 and is good for three years. You will be given a unique alpha numeric sticker to place on your ATV in a prominently visible area on your machine.
ATVers under the age of 16-years old may only ride with supervision by a licensed adult over the age of 18 years of age. Using an ATV while hunting is prohibited, no firearm or bow and arrow may be carried on an ATV on any public lands in the State of Ohio.
Helmets and other safety equipment are not required to be worn on any publicly managed lands when riding your ATV, however as you know, it just makes good sense to use safety equipment when operating your ATV; certain features must be installed on your ATV when riding publicly managed lands, those features include :
*Headlights for night driving *Spark arrestor to help keep forest fires to a minimum *Muffler to reduce noise levels
Unlike many States, Ohio does not have a decible level in place for what is considered normal noise levels for ATVs and what would be considered excessive noise. If you live in Ohio, check with your local Bureaus of Motor Vehicles to make sure that you are well within the limits of the law when you ride your ATV, you will be saving yourself a lot of grief and fines by knowing the laws for riding your ATV and how they apply to you.

Nevada ATV Ownership
The desert terrain of Nevada makes for some fun ATVing. There is a lot of wide open spaces to really cut loose and enjoy your machinel. However, you want to make sure you're riding within the rules and regulations of the State of Nevada.
The Bureau of Land Management and The National Forest Service are the only two entities that you will have to answer to regarding your ATV. The State of Nevada does not require that you register your ATV at the time of this writing.
The Bureau of Land Management and the National Forest Service do have their own particular rules that they do enforce to anyone riding on their lands. All ATVers under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult ATVer with a valid State of Nevada drivers license. All persons riding ATVs must wear DOT approved helmets at all times and protective eyewear must be worn by anyone riding an ATV.
Headlights must be used when riding your ATV from dusk until dawn and if you are riding in a sand dune area, it is recommended that you have a brightly colored flag attached to your ATV.
You may ride your ATV only on designated trails and trail blazing is not permitted on any lands managed by the BLM or the Forestry Service. Additionally, you must have a noise muffler and a spark arrestor in place on your ATV prior to riding. At the time of this writing, you were not required to purchase a permit to ride on any of the publicly managed lands but there are certain bills in State Government that may add a fee to ride your ATV on these lands to help collect revenue for the upkeep of these recreational lands.
Nevada is a great place to own an ATV, follow the good example set forth by Treadlightly and help preserve those lands for a new generation of ATVers.

Anyone under the age of 16 is prohibited from operating an ATV with an engine capacity of greater than 90 cubic centimeters during training or while on public lands or waters or across a public roadway. In New Jersey, the minimum age for operating an ATV is 14 years.

New York ATV Ownership Rules And Regulations
If you own an ATV in the State of New York, your ATV must be registered with the State. There are also some special rules and regulations you need to follow to make sure not only do you ride your ATV safely, but also legally.
Your ATV must be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) if it is operated anywhere in New York State, including on the owner's own private property. The exception is that ATVs used only for agricultural purposes, or for snow plowing are exempt from the State of New York's registration requirement for ATVs. To register an ATV at a motor vehicle issuing office, complete a Vehicle Registration Application. You must also provide proof of ownership, sales tax payment receipt or or a form exempting you from paying taxes on your purchase of your ATV, your identity and your date of birth. You must also pay a registration fee of $25 per year per ATV, which includes a $15 trail riding fee. You also must pay a $7.50 license plate fee when you first register your ATV. You will be issued a plate, a registration sticker and a receipt. The plate must be attached to the rear of the ATV, and the sticker should be placed to the right of the center of the plate. You should carry the registration receipt when operating your ATV.
You do not need a driver license to operate an ATV, but certain restrictions apply to operators under age 16 years of age. ATVers between the ages of 10-15 years old may only operate an ATV with adult supervision and young riders must complete an ATV safety course and the certificate of completion should be carried at all times when riding your ATV. Your ATV must have the following equipment:
- Brakes in good condition
- A muffler which is in good operating condition and meets federal standards
- A spark arrester approved by the U.S. Forest Service
- Tires with at least 2/32nds of an inch tread without visible breaks, cuts, exposed cords, bumps or bulges
- A lighted white headlight and red taillight if the ATV is driven at night
- The law requires you to keep the ATV's headlight and taillight lighted when riding a half-hour after sunset to a half-hour before sunrise. For greater safety, DMV recommends you keep the lights on at all times.
Make sure you ride safely and legally in the State of New York and you're going to have a great time knowing you won't have a ticket coming for not adhering to the rules. If you see someone riding an ATV that isn't licensed or registered or up to par, implore them to pay the $25 and get legal with the State, it's a small price to pay and definitely smaller than the fines for riding your ATV illegally.
