The Bradshaw Trails are part of a complex trail system that covers a huge 65-mile wide area and with warmer weather upon us, this is a great place to make it a full weekend of 4-wheeling with your family or friends.
The history of these trails is interesting. Originally they were used as an overland stagecoach route. Then as the towns grew in this area these trails became used as major thoroughfares of transportation in this area. The largest part of the Bradshaw Trail covers public lands that give incredible views of the neighboring mountains and the Palo Verde Valley below.
The rugged terrains make this a trip one that requires a few precautions for all 4-wheeler operators. As these are public lands, you will be required to wear your DOT approved helmet and eye protection. 4-wheeler protective clothing is recommended, too. Be sure to wear long heavy-duty pants, long sleeved shirts, and boots when you ride your 4-wheeler on these trails.
There is an abundance of wildlife in this area and especially deer are prevalent for most of the riding season. They are usually the most visible in the early morning hours when they are out foraging for food.
