Located near Gold Bar, Washington; Reiter Pit has 4-wheeler trails for the serious enthusiast. This riding area is big enough to get good and lost on the trails on your 4-wheeler and it is open all year round. Best of all, they don't charge any fees to ride as of the time of this writing.
Reiter Pit is an area made up of round rock and gravel. Make sure you have tires that provide a good grip. Black Widow tires will more than give you the traction you need on loose, gravelly soil.
Most of the trails will take you through densely forested areas. This trail system is rated as intermediate to difficult for most of the trail due to the extreme slippage of the loose gravel on the trail. This isn't a great destination to take younger or newer 4-wheel riders; however, if you have a group composed of weekend warriors who love to get the maximum out of their 4-wheelers, this is the spot for you and your group.
Any rider with experience handing hills, ditches and loose terrain will thoroughly enjoy this 4-wheeler trail system. There is no running water and no facilities in the immediate area. Make sure to pack basic first aid supplies, extra water and make sure someone in your group has a winch kit just in case someone gets stuck and needs a pull to get out.
