Isabel Lake has a pretty name for an ATV trail, but this can be a very challenging ride in many places. ATV riders of all skill levels will enjoy this area. If you are an inexperienced ATV rider, make sure you have someone with good skills and experience with you, there are a lot of difficult navigations throughout these ATV trails, but the challenge is what makes it fun! Just always be honest with yourself and never attempt a trail you know you honestly don't have the skills for. That ATV trail will be there when you have the necessary skills and experience to conquer it!
We couldn't find anyone that had actually taken the ATV trail to Lake Isabel and as far as we know, it doesn't go that far. Everyone did agree though, that many of these ATV trails were once mine access thoroughfares. There are a lot of rock hills to climb, if you love to feel the grip of those ATV tires as they pull you over the rocks, you're going to love this ATV ride!
There are a couple of streams that cross the trail and be aware they have fairly steep inclines, if you haven't handled steep inclines before, on the trail is not the time to learn. Always err on the side of safety; riding your ATV should always be a fun experience. If you have the skills, this will be a challenging ride for you to enjoy.
