The Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area has a great diversity of terrain to ride on that will please every ATV owner. The picturesque mountain view with elevations that range from 600 feet to over 2400 feet make this a very fun and challenging ride on your ATV.
The upper ranch area of the ATV trails has over 24-miles of trails to ride. For the motorcycle enthusiasts, they also have a fenced in motocross track and there are many regular events and competitions here. In order to ride your ATV in this area you will need to register with the park office in order to use the area for the day. The hours for ATV operation are from 8AM until sunset.
That's not the only ATV riding that you get at Hollister Hills. The lower ranch area has a much larger area to ride measuring in at roughly 2,400 acres and about 64 miles of trails and hill climbs. These trails are open from sunrise until sestet every day and this area is exclusively for the use of ATV riders and motorcyclists.
If you'd like to camp out here, both the Upper and Lower Ranch areas have campgrounds that you can stay on for up to 2-weeks at a time. There are picnic areas and pit toilet facilities.
This is a very family friendly recreation area and family togetherness is high encouraged. So gather your gang and make a beeline for Hollister Hills and make some memories with the whole family.
