If you want to take your new Jetmoto out and see what it can really do. Take a trip out to Peekaboo Gulch Road. This ATV trail is just over 2-miles long and is a rough ride all the way.
This ATV trail is part of the San Isabel National Forest and as with all national forest areas they do require that you register your ATV at the ranger's station and you have a spark arrestor and noise muffler installed prior to riding this trail. Helmets and goggles are also required gear when riding in this National Forest managed area.
Since this is a very steep and challenging ATV trail, don't attempt to ride it unless you're experienced in maneuvering an ATV, be very honest with yourself about your abilities. Don't ride this ATV trail alone, make sure you are with an ATVer equally as experienced in riding challenging terrain as yourself. Cell phone reception is hit and miss in this area, so don't rely on your cell phone as your lifeline to the world. To find Peekaboo Road ATV trail from the Twin lakes area, ATVers should head 8 miles west on Highway 82 all the way to South Fork Lake Creek Road, also known as Forest Road 391 which ATVers will see is on the left side of the highway. Stay on this 4WD road until you come to Forest Road 393 on your right. You have now reached Peekaboo Road ATV trail.
