Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Carthage, Missouri, the Big Red Barn RV Park is a great place to go for some nice and quiet scenic camping. The park is filled with amazingly bright green grass, beautiful sunsets and nighttime sky views, huge trees, and the overall atmosphere that the place resonates is one of deep peace and outdoor beauty. The park is a great place for bird watching, as it is home to a large variety of songbirds. The park has 70 very long and wide sites with 62 full hook up sites and 8 basic water and electric sites. The park offers 30 and 50 amp electric service and there is always enough room for big rigs on the sites.
The park is open all year long and it offers some great features and amenities, such as cable TV with over 40 channels, free phone access, free wi-fi internet access, an air-conditioned modem station, picnic tables, a bar-b-q area and outdoor pavilion with free firewood, an air-conditioned laundry room, a game room with a pool table and video games, climate controlled restrooms and showers with hot water, complete kitchen facilities, an exchange library, and much more.
There are designated trails for riding your ATV. The trails are very narrow and only allow for one machine. They are very easy to navigate and even the newest of ATVers can enjoy tooling around the lushly forested areas on their ATVs.
