If you have a group of ATVers and you can't find trails to please every member's riding skills, The East Fork Rock OHV trail system is waiting for you and your group.
The ATV trails are well marked and mapped and provide a full range of difficulty from easiest to very difficult. East Fork provides 318 miles of trail for casual and competitive use covering about 110,000 acres and ranging in elevation from 4400 to 6400 feet.
In order to ride these ATV trails, your ATV must measure less than 50" across. Oregon has very strict rules for ATV riders - know and follow the regs to the letter and always wear your helmet, it's not just good common sense, it's the Law! On these well-marked ATV trails, the rules are very simple. If a trail doesn't have a sign reading that it is open, consider the trail closed. Additionally, The ATV trails are open to horses, mountain bikes, and other weekend warriors, so please watch for others and ride carefully.
About half of the ATV trail area is within the Fox Butte Green Dot Area that restricts access to designated roads during the general deer-hunting season. This is roughly a two-week period form late September to mid-October, and any roads or trails within the Green Dot Area will be subject to Green Dot restrictions. Oregon has a "leave no trace" rules for ATV riders. The ATV trail system is open all year, however hot, dusty conditions normally inhibit riding from mid-July through September and cold, snowy conditions inhibit riding from mid-December through March.
