How An ATV Enthusiast Should Write A Letter To Elected Officials

It is important for ATV riding enthusiasts to voice their opinion to elected officials regarding protecting land that is specified for ATV riding. Should you choose to write to your elected officials, you will want to sound intelligent. Here you'll find some tips to write the best possible letter that you are able to concerning ATV riding and Protected land.

To write an ATV riding enthusiast campaign letter, you will want to begin with a sentence that grabs your attention. Something that really sounds like a catchy phrase, or some kind of a "jingle" per se, such as, "ATV = Appreciating The Vegetation". You will probably want to take your time and think of something a bit more clever. But do try to make your point immediately. Although these elected officials are there to help, they are very busy. your first sentence should be catchy, but also summarize what your point is.

Within your letter, make sure to mention that you are an ATV riding voter. This is important In order for you to be taken seriously regarding your letter to help ATV riders preserve the land that is rightfully ours.

Another point to keep in mind while writing your ATV rider enthusiast letter, is not to be completely negative throughout. A good idea is to use the sandwich method: something positive, something negative, something positive. This way you will not come across is just a "complainer".

Try not to make your letter look like a form letter. Make it personal and passionate sounding. If you have experience on the issue of ATV riding and appreciating the land provided for it, write about that, too. Also, if you are a member of any ATV group or environmentalist group that would be beneficial to this cause, make sure to let your official know that as well.

Rather than writing your letter in typical fashion, it should be written in indented bullets style. Mention points that are important to ATV riders, but try to keep it concise. If you need to express them or concerns regarding your ATV riding enthusiast letter, it is better to write several short letters than to write one long one.

A photograph of you with other ATV riding enthusiasts is a good idea, on your favorite trail. Or, if you're emailing your letter, Attach the picture.

At the end of your letter, you will want to reiterate the point from your first sentence. what you're elected official know that you believe in their abilities as an official. also, let them know one final time that you wish for them to vote for the preservation of ATV riding trails.
