Sand Dunes features more than 8,000 acres of sand dunes with easy to difficult riding opportunities. Cottage Grove is small but has two fun trails for off road exploring.
East Fork Rock has 318 miles of easy to difficult trails. Choose from four staging areas, depending on your skill level.
Edison Butte has over 25 miles of difficult trails. Henderson Flat has 18 miles of trails from easy to difficult, a little something for everyone's ATV knowledge level. There is alsofree camping on site.
Heppner Ranger District is a huge area for riding and exploring with your ATV, with approximately 91,136 acres open to Class I and III ATVs. Heppner rules require that you stay on designated paths. Another place for you to ride your class I or III ATV is Huckleberry Flats or John's Peak where you can find over 33 miles and 14,000 acres of trails to ride your ATV through.
Klamath Sportsman's Park welcomes all classes of ATVs on it's 20 acred of riding areas. McCubbins Gulch has over 50 miles of motorcycle and ATV riding areas of all classes of ATVs.
Meadow Creek Trail has 24 miles of area outside the wilderness that are open to motorized vehicles. Be aware this a place where foot travel, ATVs, and mountainbike groups all explore in the same place. Use extra caution when traveling the section from the bridge to Godman as it is very difficult for ATV travel.
Shotgun Creek OHV Area is a great ride with lots of opportunities to explore the trails and chart new trails with your ATV, make sure to respect private property, and make sure to get a map from the Eugene District Office so you don't get caught off-guard regarding traveling on roads. Shared-use road segments shown on map are the only paved roads open to unlicensed (non-street legal) vehicles. All other paved roads in the Shotgun trail system are CLOSED to non-street legal vehicles. So avoid hassles and use a map.
Sunflower OHV Area has over 37,000 acres open to Class I and III ATVs. Although no formal ATV routes are designated, the terrain allows for some off-road travel and there are numerous unused or low standard roads. Make sure to mark your maps and use your GPS when exploring here. Always err on the side of safety and common sense when exploring a new area in your ATV, and most of all - enjoy the ride!
