ATV Riding In Oregon

With its wilderness, mountains, and untamed trails. Oregon is an ATV rider's heaven. There are some fantastic riding trails already mapped out for your enjoyment and while you're at it, make a new trail or two of your own.

Christmas Valley Sand Dunes has more than 8,000 acres of sand dunes with riding levels that range from easy for beginning ATV riders to difficult for the more experienced rider. Always remember, think safety first. Never try to navigate a trail or riding area rated above your experience level.

East Fork Rock has over 300 miles of easy to challenging trails. There are four different staging areas to start your ride from. If you want to make a weekend out of your ATV ride, here are a few places that offer a great ride and free camping. Edison Butte in Oregon has 25 miles of difficult trails. There is free camping on site. Henderson Flat also offers many miles of trails that are for the ATV rider who wants a more challenging ride. Millican Valley has 256 miles of easy to difficult trails here: 3 staging areas and 1 play area at North Millican. There is free dispersed camping on site.

John's Peak has something for every riding experience level. With over 14,000 acres of trails with varying degrees of difficulty there truly is something for everyone. Meadow Creek Trail, There are 24 miles outside of the wilderness that are open to ATVs. The Meadow Creek Trail is well maintained and is a common gathering place for hikers, horseback riders, ATV enthusiasts, and mountain bikers. The trail follows along Meadow Creek for 3 miles before it climbs in elevation along old logging roads to the Godman area. The section from the bridge to Godman is very difficult for ATV travel and should only be attempted by experienced riders.

If you want a lot of space to ride your ATV, West End (Sunflower) is a huge area with over 91,000 acres open to Class I and III ATVs with all degrees of difficulty from very easy to very difficult represented.

Hop on your ATV and come ride the Oregon trails today!
