A machine that is too big for the rider poses a danger to the rider, and may be too difficult for the rider to manage. Riders who are six years or younger should not ride an ATV with an engine larger than 90 cc. Children between six and twelve should ride ATVs between 70 cc and 90 cc. Riders 16 and over can ride machines wit engines at 90 cc or over.
