ATVs for Children
ATV's can be dangerous for kids to ride, but with the proper training and the appropriate ATV, children will enjoy themselves safely. There are several models of ATV's that are appropriate for children.
The Kazuma KMX 50cc ATV is built for kids and contains many safety features. It has a 50cc engine, a speed restrictor that adjusts speed to 5 mph for kids that are learning to ride and a maximum speed of 20 mph. Other safety features include an engine kill switch, extra large brakes for quick stopping, and an emergency auto cutoff cord, so someone else can cut off the engine. This kid friendly ATV is available in red, green, blue, and yellow.
Another ATV for kids is the Redcat KMX 50. This ATV has a 49cc engine, goes speeds from 5 mph to 20 mph, an automatic kill switch and an emergency engine cut off control. The Redcat FX 55 is similar to the Redcat KMX 50 but is bigger. It also includes semi automatic 3 speed, a remote control kill switch, and a teather.
For older kids try the BKM-XTM 90. It features a 90cc engine, is electric, it also has larger tires and chrome bumper. Another unique ATV for larger children or adults is the Kazuma Falcon 110. It comes in blue, green, red, or yellow and contains a 107cc engine. It also features an engine kill switch and a reverse indicator light.
Do your research before choosing an ATV for your child and they should be fine. Given the proper training a kid should be able to operate an ATV, with adult supervision, and have a great time.
