ATV Safety Can Not be Stressed Enough

As with any vehicle, there are safety rules to ATV riding. In fact, you will see it mentioned more than once. ATV safety can't be stressed enough. The following rules should be branded into your brain before you ever step foot on an all terrain vehicle.

First, always wear a helmet. The brain is the most important parts of your body. It controls the functions of every other part connected to your body. Head injuries can cause brain damage, and even death. This is one of the reason ATV safety can't be stressed enough.

It is also important not to ride on public roads or highways. This is for your safety. Who do you think will win in a collision, you or a normal sized vehicle? It is also important not to carry more than one passenger on a single rider vehicle. I am sure you will feel awful if someone was hurt because you allowed them to do something you knew was unsafe. Again, this is why ATV safety can't be stressed enough.

It is also important to use the ATV that is right for you. Just as you wouldn't drive a hot wheels to work, you don't want your children driving your car around the yard. The same thing applies to ATV sizes. Age 6 and older should use a 70 cc, age 12 and older should use 70 to 90 cc, and 16 and over can safely use 90 cc and over. Like I said, ATV safety can't be stressed enough.
