Red River ATV Park
If you are between Texas and Oklahoma and you're looking for a great wide open place to go ride your ATV, check out Red River ATV Park. They are open from 8 a.m. Saturday through sunset on Sunday and on all major holidays.
If you have a group that wants to ride, the ATV park may be opened by special request, which is great if you have a get together you want to plan - you can ride your ATVs in privacy. This park not only offers great ATV riding but for those who do not wish to ride (we can't imagine who), there is fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, and paintball.
After a day of ATV riding, camping with electric hook-ups ($15 per night), and showers with hot and cold water is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park is open to all ATV, 4-wheel drive, dirt bike and other off-road vehicles.
This park has over 400 acres of family-owned and leased trails along the scenic Red River at the Texas and Oklahoma border, including 4 miles of river frontage. Easily accessible from the Dallas-Fort Worth and Oklahoma City areas. The park has a few good rules for everyone to follow when riding their ATVs and they do require safety equipment be worn at all times. You must stay on the paths, no littering, be sure to stay off the highway slopes,no alcohol or drugs allowed, respect the wildlife, use only deadwood for firewood. Also be aware other private property boarders the ATV trails in many places, be aware and stay on the marked trails.
