Cottage Grove ATV Trail

Cottage Grove is a great ride on your ATV. There are three trails available for off roading. The 4 mile Noonday Wagon Road is open for Class II. Knott Trail is 3.9 miles and Bohemia National Recreation Trail is open only for Class III. Be aware of what class your ATV is, before you go on any of these trails. Let's get the other rules out of the way so we can tell you the fun things about this trail. In Oregon, you must have a permit to ride issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles and this permit must be displayed in a clearly visible place on your ATV. You must wear your helmet at all times when operating your ATV. Okay, now that is out of the way, let's talk about the fun things to see on this fabulous destination for you and your ATV.

Cottage Grove has a little something for everyone in terms of riding. After doing a pre-ride inspection, hop on your ATV and get to exploring this fantastic venue. There are numerous trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Get a map from the Ranger station and ask if any areas are shut down. The trails that are set up are breathtakingly fun to explore, don't go off trail and make any new ones. Oregon has very strict rules for ATV riders about their "without a trace" program. Meaning after your visit, there should be no trace of your presence. If everyone follows this directive when riding their ATVs, Cottage Grove will be a place of fun exploration for future generations of ATV riders.
